ASHES DIVIDE's BILLY HOWERDEL Performs On Boston's WBCN 104.1 FM; Video Available
February 28, 2008Video footage of ASHES DIVIDE mainman Billy Howerdel (also of A PERFECT CIRCLE) performing two songs acoustically and taking part in an interview with the Boston radio station WBCN 104.1 FM can be viewed below.
The cover artwork of "Keep Telling Myself It's All Right", the debut album from ASHES DIVIDE, can be viewed at this location. Howerdel sings and plays guitar, bass and keyboard on the CD, which also features A PERFECT CIRCLE's Josh Freese on drums and TOOL singer Maynard James Keenan's 11-year-old son Devo on cello. The first single is called "The Stone".
"Keep Telling Myself It's All Right" is due out on April 8.
ASHES DIVIDE recently launched its own YouTube channel at this location. An initial group of interviews between Howerdel and MTV personality Matt Pinfield has been posted at the site. In the exchanges, Howerdel discusses his musical upbringing, recording with A PERFECT CIRCLE, the assembly of the ASHES DIVIDE touring band and the inspiration behind some of the project's songs.
ASHES DIVIDE has been confirmed for the Rock on the Range festival, set to be held May 17-18 at Columbus, Ohio's Columbus Crew Stadium. STONE TEMPLE PILOTS will headline the AEG Live-steered event, which is expanding this year to two days.
